MONROVIA, Liberia – The Liberia Football Association, through its president Hassan Bility, has lifted the ban that was placed on football in the country due to the deadly Ebola outbreak.

Speaking to reporters over the weekend, Mr. Bility said all football activities can now resume given the level of improvement in the fight against Ebola in the country; however, the LFA has meanwhile stressed the need for all to observe the basic protocols to prevent Ebola by taking preventative steps at football practices and games.

Meanwhile, the LFA will begin the enforcement of the CAF-mandated Club Licensing upon the resumption of the pending National League which is expected to begin on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Below are the information for each division:

FIRST DIVISION
A youth development Program
Training ground
One youth team( between the ages 10-14 or 15-21)
An office space equipped and staffed
Personnel
Head coach with CAF B License or above for the first team
Deputy coach with CAF C license or above for First team
Head coach for youth team with CAF C License or above
General Manager
Financial Officer with Diploma in accounting
Medical Doctor
Physiotherapist or Masseur for the first team
A certified medics
Head for youth development
Financial Statement from 2013/2014 season(Balance Sheet & Income Statement)
A Bank Statement( capable of running the club)
Article of Incorporation
Player contract form
Coaches contract form

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2015
Inspection begins: February 2, 2015
Awarding of Club License: February 15, 2015
2014/2015 League commencement date: March 15, 2015
