Liberian international midfielder Tonia Tisdell will be playing in the Turkish top flight after helping his club Osmanlispor gain promotion from the PTT 1 Lig.

Tisdell scored one of the three goals for his club in their 3-2 win over Antalyaspor on Sunday in the penultimate match of the 2014-2015 PPT 1 Lig season.

With that win, Osmalispor FK finished second in the PPT 1 Lig and they were automatically promoted to the Turkish Super Lig with 63 points from 33 matches with a game still to spare next week.

After a grueling season, Tisdell will take a few weeks rest before returning to Liberia for camp ahead of the Lone Star’s AFCON 2017 qualifiers away to Togo in June.
