A high-powered two-man football delegation from the European Football Governing body (UEFA) is due in Liberia from March 22 – 23, 2016 to discuss UEFA’s cooperation with the Liberia Football Association (LFA).
The delegation will be headed by UEFA’s Deputy and current Acting Secretary General Theodore Theodoridis and Integrity Officer Urs Kluser of Legal Affairs/Disciplinary Services.
A release from the LFA said the two high-ranking UEFA officials will discuss future cooperation with the Liberian FA in all aspect of football development.
The visit of the UEFA delegation to Liberia followed discussions held between the LFA President Musa Bility and the newly elected FIFA President Gianni Infantino during last week’s FIFA Congress in Zurich.
The LFA President reportedly played an influential role in deciding the outcome of the FIFA presidential polls.
LFA President Musa Bility is excited about the upcoming visit and said it will help Liberia reach a higher mark in its football development program.
